Partnering 2010

Our colleagues represented Guidance as one of the exhibitors of Partnering 2010 - Client Service Conference organized in Tapolca. The conference organized for call centers and client services had more than 200 visitors. We were glad to introduce BeO - Be Oriented! - our working hours scheduler system - to the enquirers, moreover we established further partnership with some of the exhibitors.

Assets management at local governments

Last authumn we were requested to create a system for Budapest Óbuda and Békásmegyer Municipality. The software was supposed to support the registration and levy of non tax assets. After surveying the exact needs we started the developpment, which now is ending. The employees of the municipality started to use "TAXY" that helps them to be much more efficient in their work.

CONFENIS 2009

As presenting sponsor of CONFENIS 2009 our company participated in organizing the international conference. The conference concerned with integrated Enterprise Resource Planning systems was held on 28th-30th of October. We had visitors and presentors from more than 20 countries. Our colleagues successfully gave their vocational presentations together with our partners BroadVision Inc. and Code Ltd. in the subjects of "Enterprise social networking – don't be afraid" and "Enterprise mobile applications".

Coming home from Switzerland

The BroadVision - Hilti project started in September in Switzerland has been successfully finished for our colleagues a few weeks ago. Besides the international experiences our associates have gained large practice in applying JSF technology and they have get acquainted with BroadVision Portal 8.1 version as well. Due to the successfull common project our partnership with BroadVision Inc. has been deepened on.

Updating the Raiffeisen DirektNet

We ended our project on 11 April, 2009. The result is the possibility of overall management of the fix transfers on Raiffeisen DirektNet. The clients are able to amend or delete their active fix transfer requests on DirektNet. If the user has more assignments, the fixed instalments are not needed to be signed separately, but they may be enforced collectively.

Java course

We held our course on the topic of Java & Web in the middle of February.
A curriculum in Hungarian has been prepared for this course as the first part of a planned series with the title Guiversity. All the participants could access to the necessary technical environment by a pendrive. Due to the successful teamwork of our colleagues the curriculum has found the „students” approval, especially the quality, fastidiousness and the representation goods (pens, wrighting pads) were to everyone's delight. Both the pendrive itself and the environment placed on it shall be used in the future, too as a new techological device.

Guidance birthday

Guidance Ltd become 7 years old in 2009 which was celebrated with a party on 13 February. Just like two years ago, we announced a bowling competition. The prize was a Cup. This time Vargáné Saci and her raffled team received the Cup.
Celebrating the event was a great pleasure for us, not to mention the splendid two-floor-cake made by our manager, András Csóka.

The two-year-old giraffe has been adopted by the Mind Center Ltd, our partner in training organization, as a result of all the realized trainings organized for our colleagues. The colleagues are waiting breathlessly for the role of foster parents. :)

Santa Claus Rally

The 12. Santa Claus Rally took place on 6-7. December, 2008 in Veszprém..
The rally team, sponsored by the Guidance Ltd. took the second place in its category, and eighth in the combined one.
The Santa Claus Rally closes the National Rally Championship. Árpád Szőcs and Attila Szőcs lined up in the category for over 1600 cubic centimetre with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo racer.
They had to complete 62 km on six speed sectors the Öskü-Öskü (10,3 km) ȁ4 Bánta-Öskü (6,9 km) ȁ4 Márkó-Jutaspuszta (13,8 km) sectors had to be completed twice. |

This name has become inseparable from the companies representing new technologies. The common shares of BroadVision have been quoted from 10 November with the symbol of BVSN.

Direct debit authorisation

We finished our direct debit authorisation project this week. With this process the DirektNet of Raiffeisen Bank enriched with a new function. The development was finished on schedule. According to the first feedbacks this function satisfied the demands of the clients of the Bank.

The GuiDesk comes into being

After long preparatory processes we have launched our management portal. Due to the GuiDesk system accessible on the net our collegues will find administration more transparent and simple, while monitoring of the status of projects is becoming simplified, all necessary information for making decisions can be easily accessed by the managers. Our colleagues have been using the software ever since that time with great enthusiasm and developing it further and further.

Hilti OnLine – Swiss mission

As a partner of BroadVision we take part in the development of the new portal system, therefore two of our collegues are moving to the Swiss domicile of Hilti. The work consists of two parts: development the administrative interface (Hilti Management Center), and the front end part of the portal (Hilti On-line). Our collegues participate in the development of both surfaces, using the Java Server Faces technology regarding the lattest part.

HEFOP educational application

On 19 May, 2008 we submitted an application entitled "Let's improve the future together!" - training program for the employees of Guidance Ltd.. Our application has turned out a success, so the trainings of Guidance Ltd. have been realizing since the beginning of June with the co-financing of EU within the National development Plan. Our colleagues have been enthusiastic from the beginning when teaching Project management, Business communication knowledge and Marketing and PR. We are confident that the knowledge gained by these trainings will be utilizable both for our company and our clients, too.
